A forestry and natural-resource strategist with 25+ years in the sector, he pairs deep expertise in climate financing, community forestry, and sustainable development with the credibility of representing Suriname at FAO-COFO, ACTO, and the Caribbean Forestry Organization. At Watrakan he leads general management and shapes resource strategy — from opportunity assessment. through sustainable, ESG-aligned execution. He holds a BSc from Van Hall Larenstein. Beyond work, he’s happiest planting, exploring Suriname’s forests, and on the football court.
